The Burden and the Brother

A man hiking through the Alps met a little girl carrying her baby brother on her back. The boy was too young to walk by himself on the rough and rocky track, but he was still heavy for her to bare. The girl was bended over under his weight and sweating with every step she took up the mountain, but still whistled and sang.

“You have a heavy burden on you” said the man.

The girl looked at him in awe, and scolded him:

“It’s not a burden I am carrying, sir. This is my brother!

Do you feel helping your brother in need is a burden?”
