The Most Powerful Affirmation
The most common yet negative and false belief most people live with their entire life is that
“I am not enough.”
Dr. Kent Hoffman – professor and clinical consultant at the University of Virginia, University of Maryland and Queensland University of Technology (Watch his TED Talk) performed a study during the last 40 years, asking people coming from different backgrounds and social environments one question: “If there is one thought that is constant in your mind that you would like to get rid of forever, what would that repetitive thought be?” Regardless if they were homeless and abused, people in dire straits and difficult circumstances, university students coming from good families, professionals with secure jobs and even the researchers themselves, their answer was the same: “I am not enough” is the belief that most of us would like to get rid of.
If you’ve ever tried affirmations, you’ve probably noticed some of them don’t work because you are telling yourself something you don’t believe. In this case, the conscious mind (the affirmation) goes against the subconscious mind (your beliefs).
The most powerful affirmation you will ever find is this: “I am as God created me.”
The most powerful affirmation doesn’t come from the conscious mind but from your Soul, an affirmation in which you are not trying to convince yourself of something you don’t believe, but rather you are becoming aware of the truth and the reality of what you truly are.
I am as God created me.
Regardless of your circumstances, bring to your awareness as often as possible this idea: I am as God created me. This thought comes directly from your Soul and from the mind of God, and it bypasses all the beliefs constructed by this world. The voices of the world stand still when the voice of God speaks to you. I am as God created me includes everything: I am worthy, I am enough, I am loved, I am everything. There is no darkness in this thought and no place for doubt. You are not trying to convince yourself of something you feel it’s not true, but when you speak these words – I am as God created me – the Holy Spirit within you reaches our from the depths of your Soul and tells you the truth about what and how you really are: a child of God who stands in light, in strength and in the joy of what you truly are.
You are as God created you.
